Rot Shrine is the solitary vision of a single madman whose passion for atmospherics and brutal music converge into a powerful and haunting project. The album merges blistering black metal ferocity with ethereal dungeon synth landscapes, adding an evocative layer of tรคnzelcore to form an expression unlike anything else in the genre today.
The artist, Maggaroth, has this to say: ยซRot Shrine is one of my solo projects. It is Tanzelcore, Dungeon synth and Raw black metal all mixed together. I wanted to make something that people have never heard before, and make it be fun and have a humorous spin to it. The album process was pretty difficult as I do all the instruments and vocals myself. This is my biggest project yet with Rot Shrine.ยป
